Nigerian Fashion Designers I Admire....
'Tailors' as popularly called in Nigeria, the time when people thought, "it was just to make cloths". Decades after the fashion business evolved, where it's not just about making cloths but became and is still a valuable profession, called 'Fashion Designing'. 

Here are a few Nigerian Fashion Designers who have been in the business for as much as three decades and less ;

Deola Sagoe

Deola Ade-Ojo founded her brand 'Deola' (Deola Sagoe) in 1988 and the first Nigerian to have her own stand alone show at the New-York Fashion week in 2014.

Folake Coker


Folake Coker, Founder and Creative Director, 'Tiffany Amber' (1998).

Lanre Da Silva Ajayi

Lanre Da Silva Ajayi created her eponymous brand in 2005 and she is one of Nigeria's leading Fashion Designers.

Ugo Monye

Ugo Monye came to lime light when he made the amazing 'agbada' for Ebuka Obi-Uchendu (Nigerian Media Personality) for #Baad2017. He has been in the fashion profession for more than 10 years.

Lisa Folawiyo

Lisa Folawiyo created her brand, 'Jewel by Lisa' in 2005 and she has showrooms in Nigeria and New York, USA.

Ese Azenabor

Ese Azenabor, a Nigerian Canadian who conceptualized her fashion fascination in 2012 in Dallas, Texas, USA.

Ohimai Atafo

Ohimai Atafo founded his fashion brand 'Mai Atafo' now called 'Atafo' almost a decade now. He speacializes in both male and female bespoke wears.

Kunbi Oyelese

Kunbi Oyelese Tomori founded 'April by Kunbi' over a decade ago and she is one of the most recognised Nigerian wedding dress designers.

Toluwaloju Olowofoyeku

Toluwaloju Olowofoyeku (Tolu Foyeh), a lawyer now a fashion designer created her brand in 2012. She is also one of Nigeria celebrities' favourite designers.
